About the position

The Customer Service Insurance Agent plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships for Remco Insurance. This position involves managing incoming calls, responding to customer inquiries via email, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. The agent is expected to create long-term relationships with customers while meeting company goals for productivity and retention.

Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of incoming calls.
• Answer all inbound phone calls and respond appropriately to all emails received from customers.
• Maintain and create new customer relationships by following up with customers when necessary.
• Answer questions or concerns and provide information regarding products, pricing, and other aspects of the business.
• Manage customer accounts to meet company goals for productivity, customer retention, and call volume.
• Accurately process orders and provide accurate information to co-workers, management, and customers.
• Work with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a heavy volume of calls.
• Good under pressure and able to problem solve.
• Computer savvy (Print, Copy, Scan, Search Desktop).
• Previous experience in customer service or other related fields preferred, but not required.
