About the position

The Customer Service Intake Representative at Home Care Delivered, Inc. is responsible for managing and following up on new customer orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies. This role involves effective communication with healthcare professionals and customers to facilitate the initial shipment of medical supplies, ultimately aiming to build strong relationships that lead to consistent patient referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately performs each step in the process from order to ship, including customer intake and data entry.
  • Verifies insurance and gathers necessary documentation for orders.
  • Communicates effectively with healthcare professionals and customers regarding order status.
  • Maintains thorough notes on patient accounts for each contact made.
  • Expedites service for urgent situations as determined by management.
  • Explains required documents to patients and assists them in completing them.
  • Identifies opportunities for workflow improvement and enhances customer experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Call Center experience, preferably in a customer service role
  • Medical experience is helpful (e.g., medical office, CNA)
  • Knowledge of MS Office
