About the position

The Part-Time Customer Service Lead at Burlington is responsible for leading customer service initiatives and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This role involves motivating and inspiring associates to provide exceptional service while maintaining a customer-first focus. The lead will work under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Customer Service Supervisor, ensuring that the company's core values and standards are upheld in daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Model company core values and appropriate back of house standards for the receiving team.
  • Drive improvement in friendliness, speed of checkout, and customer feedback surveys.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly front end area, troubleshooting issues with registers and transactions.
  • Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.

Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
