About the position

The Part Time Customer Service Lead at Burlington is responsible for leading customer service initiatives and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This role involves motivating and inspiring associates to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a customer-first focus. The lead will work closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Customer Service Supervisor to uphold company values and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Model company core values and appropriate back of house standards for the receiving team.
  • Drive improvement in friendliness, speed of checkout, and customer feedback surveys.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly front end area, troubleshooting issues with registers and transactions.
  • Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
