About the position

The Customer Service Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of evening Customer Service Specialists, ensuring that all nightly tasks are completed efficiently while fostering a positive and productive team environment. This role involves direct supervision, addressing escalated customer concerns, and motivating the team to achieve customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct the work of evening Customer Service Specialists.
  • Monitor task completion to ensure nightly goals and customer service standards are met.
  • Act as a player-coach, directly addressing escalated customer concerns while supporting the team.
  • Motivate and develop the team to deliver timely and effective resolutions.
  • Identify and implement new systems or processes to enhance productivity and service quality.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Exceptional understanding of customer service best practices and issue resolution.
  • Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to excel in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (2 years preferred).
