As a Customer Service Leader - Office Assistant at Food Lion, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide fast, easy, flexible, and friendly service while adhering to Food Lion's customer service standards. You will assist the Customer Service Manager and the Assistant Customer Service Manager in maintaining operational standards according to the Front End Standard Practice Manual, with a focus on maximizing sales through excellent customer service. In this position, you will engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience by greeting them warmly and using their names whenever possible. You will be responsible for completing store office functions accurately and on time, which includes managing cash reports, register checkups, deposits, and other financial transactions. Maintaining a neat and clean presentation of the workstation and front-end area is essential, as is ensuring that all sales associate register functions and Front-End accounting services are performed correctly. You will also be expected to report any register malfunctions, assist with the MVP savings center KIOSK, and perform the tasks of a sales associate or customer lead as needed. Adhering to company guidelines, policies, and standard practices is critical, as is maintaining a courteous and helpful demeanor towards both customers and associates. You will be required to wear the Food Lion uniform and maintain a neat appearance while on duty. Additionally, you will need to complete all required training and perform any other duties as assigned.
