About the position

The Customer Service Manager at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the customer support function within the Denver facility. This position entails managing and coordinating customer service activities across various departments, particularly in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams. The manager will evaluate written and system data, such as customer orders, to ensure efficient allocation and scheduling that promotes proper workflow. Additionally, the role involves conferring with Operations Management and Design functions to address and resolve any production-related issues that may arise. In this capacity, the Customer Service Manager will determine work procedures and may be assigned other duties as necessary. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree, although relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. A minimum of 5-10 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is required, along with experience in document control and customer service. Familiarity with JDE systems is preferred, and knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus. The role demands advanced customer service skills, with a focus on delivering the highest level of service in all situations. The manager must be capable of working autonomously, possess ERP experience, and have a solid understanding of how ERP systems function. Leadership and mentoring abilities are essential, as is the capacity to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, both in writing and verbally. The position also requires intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, along with a keen attention to detail, multitasking capabilities, and strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of materials and their requirements in relation to customer orders, as well as an understanding of purchase order requirements and nonconforming material procedures, is also necessary.

Requirements
