About the position

The Customer Service Manager (CSM) is responsible for developing strategic customer relationships to enhance retention and loyalty within a designated Division/Region. This role focuses on improving the customer service experience, fostering engaged customers, and facilitating organic sales growth through existing services and potential new offerings. The CSM acts as a liaison between the company and its clients, ensuring effective communication and resolution of customer issues while promoting the company's products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Establish rapport with corporate and individual location customer contacts, conducting surveys and audits to maintain relationships.
  • Lead initiatives as the company representative for all lines of business to address day-to-day customer needs.
  • Educate customers about the company's products and services to drive sales and achieve pricing and retention goals.
  • Collaborate with operation management teams to meet budget-specific goals, including sales numbers and profit targets.
  • Communicate customer expectations shortfalls to management and assist in rectifying them as needed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all company products and services to enhance customer service.
  • Keep accurate records of customer service actions and discussions, maintaining an orderly workflow according to priorities.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events that may require overnight travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Track record of meeting sales and profit goals.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, deal with conflict, and find beneficial solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales, marketing, or a related field preferred.
