About the position

The Customer Service Manager at Carlie C's IGA is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service in a busy retail environment. This role emphasizes the importance of prompt and friendly service, maintaining a professional appearance, and effectively managing a team to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Follow Carlie C's procedures in handling cash, checks, coupons, gift certificates, food stamps, and WIC vouchers.
  • Maintain correct cash flow.
  • Service customer's needs with a smile.
  • Effectively and promptly process the sales of Lottery Tickets, Money Orders, Money Transfers, Bill Pay, etc.
  • Time manage multiple employees, including scheduling, breaks, and lunch hours.
  • Keep the front end of the store clean and professional regarding counters, registers, and floors.
  • Train and maintain the Uniform Policy among all subordinates.
  • Train baggers to properly bag groceries according to Carlie C's bagging policies.
  • Open/Close store as Manager on Duty when required.
  • Perform other small tasks associated with daily operations as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in Customer Service Management in a retail environment is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
  • Professional response under pressure to both employees and customers.
