About the position

The Customer Service Manager at Bank Five Nine is responsible for leading a team to ensure exceptional customer service and team member experience while managing risk and supporting growth. This role involves coaching, motivating, and developing direct reports to achieve their full potential in compliance with all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Actively coach staff and ensure the transfer of learning necessary for employee development and engagement.
  • Lead by example to create a positive environment.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues in a tactful and effective manner, explaining Bank Five Nine policies.
  • Ensure staff delivers distinctive customer service.
  • Work to resolve internal and external customer issues promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure staff complies with established standards and regulations.
  • Resolve audit exceptions in a timely manner as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in a retail banking environment.
  • Basic keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate in a Windows environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Coaching/training experience.
  • Experience with supervision or leadership of retail banking activities.
  • Audit/compliance expertise.
  • New accounts experience.
