About the position

The Customer Service Manager at Cricket Wireless is responsible for overseeing all aspects of customer service operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. This role involves coaching associates, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers. The manager will work closely with both customers and staff to assess needs and provide appropriate solutions, while also being accountable for training new associates and driving sales performance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features
  • Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
  • Drive sales by maintaining a positive and engaging customer experience
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases
  • Cross sell products and handle returns of merchandise
  • Build productive trust relationships with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Suggest ways to improve sales, including marketing activities and store design

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Customer Service Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency in English and basic math skills
  • Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics
  • Track record of over-achieving sales quotas
  • Hands-on experience with POS transactions
  • Familiarity with inventory procedures
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
  • Availability to work flexible shifts
