About the position

The Customer Service Manager at The Chefs' Warehouse is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by managing staff and providing problem-solving resources. This role involves determining customer service requirements, analyzing trends, and implementing strategies to enhance service quality and operational performance. The manager will also oversee budgets and collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve customer service objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Prepare and complete action plans; implement efficiency, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Resolve problems and complete audits; identify customer service trends and determine system improvements.
  • Improve customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning processes; establish and communicate service metrics.
  • Maximize operational performance by providing front line customer solutions to challenges during the delivery process.
  • Analyze RoadNet information to improve customer service, route efficiencies, and fuel costs.
  • Responsible for budgets and overseeing the scheduling of routing and dispatch departments.
  • Create forecasts for warehouse and transportation based on reports generated through RoadNet analysis.
  • Review performance of hot listed customers and work as a liaison with sales and routing on improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Customer Service Management experience in a Call Center environment, Transportation, or Retail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
