The Customer Service Manager at OBE's Warrenton, MO facility plays a crucial role in leading the customer service team to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. The manager will develop and implement customer service policies, respond to inquiries, and foster a positive teamwork atmosphere while driving results and enhancing the team's capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and adhere to customer service policies and procedures.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and orders promptly.
  • Investigate, track, and resolve customer problems effectively.
  • Provide advice and assistance to staff and customers regarding products and services.
  • Participate in educational opportunities to enhance product knowledge.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a continuous flow of orders and flawless execution.
  • Foster and maintain a positive teamwork environment focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Manage employees by communicating job expectations and providing coaching and counseling.
  • Train newly hired Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and provide ongoing development and product training.
  • Provide customer and sales information to the sales force and management team.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the architectural glass industry preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Previous management or supervision experience required.
  • Positive demeanor and professional interaction with customers.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
  • Strong computer skills and aptitude for MRP systems.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Ability to use and read a tape measure.
  • Occasional travel to customers may be required.
  • Commitment to a safety-first approach in the workplace.
