About the position

The Healthcare Customer Service Representative role at a progressive healthcare company in Boca Raton, FL involves responding to inbound service requests from patients and physicians. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing accurate information and timely follow-through on requests. This is a direct hire position with a regular Monday to Friday schedule and potential for overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Respond professionally to inbound service requests from patients and physicians.
  • Provide accurate information and timely follow-through on requests requiring extensive research.
  • Maintain composure and patience while communicating with patients and physicians.
  • Work within established standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, articulate and concise.
  • Ability to speak clearly using appropriate grammar and word choice.
  • Professional telephone etiquette.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • At least one year of prior customer service experience or equivalent education.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual candidates are a plus.
  • Prior experience with various call center solutions.
