About the position

The Merchant Onboarding Customer Service Expert at ZBS POS is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to merchants during the onboarding process. This role involves assisting customers with inquiries, ensuring smooth transactions, and addressing any issues related to their purchases. The position requires effective communication and collaboration with team members and financial partners to resolve any credit card processing issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service for merchants during the onboarding process.
  • Open tickets using the ERP system for new applications.
  • Validate and confirm customer information to process new applications.
  • Assist merchants with platform setup, equipment setup, and adding card types.
  • Work with financial partners to address credit card processor issues.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and effective communication with team members.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams such as merchant service and tech support.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of customer service experience is required.
  • 1+ year of computer experience using Word and Excel is a plus.
  • Restaurant or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with management, including CRM updates.
