About the position

The Customer Service Ops Manager at GAT Airline Ground Support is responsible for overseeing the operations of frontline team members to ensure a high-performing and safe environment while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective workforce management, compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive team culture in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ramp assignments for frontline team members to dynamically work flights at gates.
  • Lead the airport team to perform their work safely and efficiently, complying with Federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide exceptional support to frontline team members to help them deliver superior customer service.
  • Coach and mentor frontline team members in skill development and company culture behaviors.
  • Promote an environment of mutual respect and trust among team members.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, fostering compassion and integrity.
  • Provide direction and support to enable the team to achieve high performance.
  • Assess operational conditions to ensure corporate and local scorecard metrics are met through collaboration.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Airline Customer Service Operations.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Basic computer experience (6 months+) and typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
  • 4-year college degree in a relevant field strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.

Benefits
