About the position

The Customer Service / Order Entry / Purchasing Associate at Camfil USA, Inc. is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within the St. Louis Sales Branch Office. This role involves processing customer orders, assisting with inquiries, and collaborating with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction. The position requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as experience in order entry and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate processing of customer orders via email, phone, and walk-ins.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to provide support and information.
• Communicate courteously and promptly with customers.
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Answer phone calls and resolve any issues that arise.
• Assist in preparing price quotes for customers using CRM software.
• Gain knowledge of products to understand customer needs and provide relevant information.
• Process requests for new customer account setups.
• Process credit card payments and collaborate with the Camfil Credit Department to resolve issues.
• Manage portal invoicing and review daily reports for inconsistencies.
• Conduct end-of-month processes including reconciliation of Camfil Purchasing Credit Card and Customer Credit Card Log.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in an office environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliability and availability to work overtime as needed.
