About the position

The Customer Service Order Management Representative at Siemens will play a crucial role in supporting both internal and external customers by delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position involves managing order processes, addressing customer inquiries, and facilitating solutions to ensure timely product delivery and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely responses to internal and external customers regarding delivery requests, shipping delays, shipment confirmations, order reschedules, and return authorizations.
  • Facilitate timely solutions to customer issues by utilizing available resources or creating procedures for resolution.
  • Interface with customer support and project management on product delivery and order management issues.
  • Provide solutions and alternatives to customers to meet their shipment needs.
  • Demonstrate competency in product knowledge, production processes, and the SAP order management system.
  • Provide direction and solutions on process improvements and train peers as appropriate.
  • Lead project teams and serve as a team member for special projects to drive continuous improvement and enhance team performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role supporting a manufacturing or distribution client.
  • Demonstrated ability to reproduce a customer problem, isolate the cause, and drive resolution.
  • Demonstrated logical reasoning, situational and time management skills while maintaining a positive attitude with customers and co-workers.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; specialized skill training/certification may be required; an Associate's degree in a related discipline is preferred.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and continual basis without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years' experience in a Customer Support role supporting industrial or construction electrical distribution and products.
  • SAP system knowledge/experience.
