About the position

Edgemine, Inc. is seeking a full-time in-house Customer Service Representative for online and trade show orders for our contemporary brand Blu Pepper. We are a wholesale apparel company that provides trendy, easy-to-wear styles with universal appeal for the junior market. Based in Los Angeles, Edgemine uses its vast global network to create high fashion at accessible prices, and we are looking for motivated individuals to grow with us. The role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient order processing. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for investigating customer returns, providing return labels when necessary, and keeping a record of incoming returns. You will inspect merchandise and re-package items if needed, coordinating with the shipping department on goods that can be resold. Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times is crucial, as is acknowledging and resolving customer complaints. You will keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints through email, and communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support. Additionally, you will prepare invoices for Ecommerce and Tradeshow orders, review daily open shipments, and follow up as needed. Working closely with the warehouse and other departments is essential to ensure all shipments meet customers' shipping windows. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and are eager to contribute to a dynamic team in the wholesale apparel industry.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Comfortable using computers.
  • Experience working with customer support.
  • Familiar with apparel clothing.
  • Experience working with FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other shipping portals.
  • Knowledge in EDI and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
