About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Spanish-speaking Customer Service Representative to join our Permit Section team. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support. The representative will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for all clients, with a focus on effective communication in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer support through various channels including phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding products and services, ensuring accurate information is conveyed.
  • Process sales transactions and handle cash with precision.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions through data entry.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling products or services to meet customer needs.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay informed about product updates and company policies to provide accurate information.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service or client services is preferred.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to identify customer needs effectively.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in Spanish is a must.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computerized systems for data entry and record keeping.
  • A positive attitude with a strong desire to help customers succeed.
