About the position

The Customer Service Property Tax Analyst at Coforge Limited is responsible for processing various tax-related transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to clients. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. The analyst will work in a fast-paced environment, handling inquiries, processing checks, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Process refunds and return checks from the tax office.
  • Void and reissue checks as necessary.
  • Maintain an Excel spreadsheet for tracking purposes.
  • Process UPS/USPS logs.
  • Work on customer service tickets related to tax inquiries.
  • Process clients' outstanding checks and print checks.
  • Create tracking tickets for client inquiries.
  • Assist clients with inquiries and maintain active communication with them.
  • Make calls to taxing jurisdictions to request data.
  • Research discrepancies and document processing procedures.
  • Train new employees on processing procedures.
  • Handle manual bill requests, including monthly envelope stuffing and document mailing.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong typing skills (at least 60 wpm).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • At least 5 years of experience in file exchange and tax-related roles.

Nice-to-haves
