About the position

The Customer Service Representative position at 90 Degree Benefits involves providing exceptional service to customers regarding employee benefits. The role requires answering inquiries, assisting with product information, and tracking shipments. While the position can be remote after training, initial training must be completed in the office. The representative will handle a high volume of calls and document interactions accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Answer all benefits questions accurately based on plan documents or policies.
  • Document all call information in benefit management system.
  • Handle an average of 70 calls daily, depending on volume of calls.
  • Provide high quality service to clients, providers and members.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Keep manager informed of known actions that may affect operations.
  • Complete projects or other duties assigned by the manager.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six months customer service experience required, preferably in a call-center.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, able to articulate thoughts clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks being completed simultaneously.
