About the position

The Customer Service Representative at B&D Industrial plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through direct interaction, order processing, and support for account managers. This full-time position requires professionalism in handling customer inquiries and performing various clerical tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Direct contact with customers via phone or at the sales counter.
• Taking orders from customers and accurately entering them into the computer system.
• Checking inventory and performing general office clerical functions.
• Assisting account managers in meeting customer needs.
• Attending weekly meetings and collaborating with team members.
• Occasionally delivering parts to customers and assisting with warehouse functions.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 to 4 years of parts sales experience.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in using various measuring tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screen.
• Acceptable 3-year Motor Vehicle Report.
