About the position

The Customer Service Representative role is a remote position focused on providing support to customers of a large sports and gym equipment supplier. The representative will handle inbound inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and assist with order entry needs. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, and a passion for fitness, as representatives will advocate for customers and help them resolve post-purchase inquiries effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support customers in resolving post-purchase inquiries such as order status, payment, and subscription service inquiries.
• Troubleshoot residential fitness equipment and software applications.
• Resolve customer issues and share relevant information to anticipate future needs through phone, email, and live chat.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills to determine technical issues with equipment and follow processes to find appropriate solutions.
• Meet physical requirements related to hands-on training for troubleshooting products, including disassembling and reassembling machines during training.
• Achieve and exceed performance metrics while maintaining strong organizational and time management skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years of call center experience.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs and screens simultaneously (4-5).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with troubleshooting over the phone.
• Strong written, verbal, and active listening skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in subscriptions, memberships, and software support.
• Ability to type at least 35 WPM and pass role-specific skill tests.
• Comfortable with video chat and able to attend pre-planned on-site trainings.
