About the position

Public Storage is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage self-storage facilities. This role involves assessing customer needs, conducting daily inspections, and maintaining property standards while providing excellent customer service. The position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability.
  • Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business operations.
  • Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.
  • Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to transport and lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
