About the position
The Entry Level Customer Service Representative, also known as Financial Customer Associate (FCA), is a full-time position focused on providing financial support to customers primarily through phone interactions. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy helping others and can communicate effectively in English and Spanish. The FCA will assist customers with inquiries related to their 401k accounts, including account maintenance and withdrawals, while receiving comprehensive training and support to develop their skills in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding their 401k accounts, including balance inquiries and withdrawals.
- Provide education and resources to help customers make informed financial decisions.
- Participate in a training cohort for the first 14 weeks to learn about the financial services industry and customer service skills.
- Handle a variety of customer situations and conversations, driving towards suitable resolutions.
- Engage in team activities and career coaching to enhance personal and professional development.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to establish rapport and relationships through effective communication.
- Great listening skills, professionalism, and empathy toward diverse customers.
- Proficiency in navigating and troubleshooting basic technology issues.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in financial services is a plus.
