About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Badger Meter serves as the first point of contact in the Customer Care department, focusing on maintaining strong communication with customers and ensuring order accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes the importance of customer priorities and collaboration with team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate account records within Salesforce.
• Verify all accounts have accurate discounts, account notes, billing information, and account owners.
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner via phone and/or email with customers and account managers to ensure questions and orders are prepared correctly.
• Review and process all return material authorization requests in Salesforce.
• Work effectively with operations, engineering, and technical support teams to ensure accurate account management and information in Salesforce.
• Enter all quote and order cases from Salesforce into Oracle.
• Process all the credit requests received in Salesforce and the accounting team into Oracle.

Requirements

• High school degree/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 0-1 years of related experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
• Basic proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Oracle preferred.
