About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) role is essential for supporting Station Management and ensuring smooth back-office operations. This full-time position focuses on emissions testing and health & wellness, requiring adherence to scheduled days and hours due to contractual obligations. The CSR will handle administrative tasks, assist customers, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the station.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve administrative challenges by researching options and utilizing resources independently.
  • Provide information regarding emissions testing to customers and state partners by answering questions and requests both in person and via phone.
  • Receive and direct visitors, including applicants for employment, vendors, state partners, and customers.
  • Complete Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) verifications for customers needing the service.
  • Maintain a clean and appropriately stocked station; manage supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all customer areas including front office spaces, customer restrooms, and customer booths.
  • Assist Station Management with operational requirements, including operational reporting, sending documents to appropriate departments, acting as the liaison between the station and Headquarters, and expediting work as directed.
  • Facilitate check-in and check-out of all cashiers, including accounting for all money collected on a daily basis.
  • Collect and distribute vehicle damage claim paperwork and acquire video recordings as needed.
  • Utilize various tools to assist in completing daily tasks including email, phone, PC, company forms, electronic databases, online ordering systems, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Customer service background is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organization skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate politely with the general public.
  • Proficient with email communication.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Frequent standing/walking.

Benefits
