About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Trinity Glass International is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, particularly Lowe's and Signamark consumers. This role involves handling a high volume of phone calls, resolving customer inquiries, and acting as a liaison between customers and various departments within the company. The position emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Answer 40+ phone calls per day.
  • Resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints, requiring analysis of situations.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer and various departments.
  • Operate office equipment including ACD phone system and computers.
  • Provide pricing, product availability, and delivery/tracking information.
  • Process orders and problem-solve customer issues.
  • Audit purchase orders to ensure completeness and readiness for processing.
  • Maintain records by documenting orders and logging phone calls.
  • Cross over work with Inventory, Shipping, Receiving, and Production departments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in customer service is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and computer skills are necessary.
  • Ability to handle phone etiquette and order entry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of exterior doors and construction is preferred but not required.
