About the position

The Customer Service Representative 1 at Primerica is responsible for responding to agents' inquiries regarding state insurance licenses and assisting with questions related to pre-licensing certificates, insurance license, and contract status. This onsite position is located in Brentwood, TN, and plays a crucial role in ensuring agents receive accurate and timely information to support their licensing needs.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to agents' written and telephone inquiries regarding state insurance licenses.
  • Assist with questions regarding pre-licensing certificates, insurance license, and contract status.
  • Identify concerns and ask appropriate questions to gather necessary information.
  • Document all research findings thoroughly during calls.
  • Perform corrections identified during calls and forward them to the appropriate party for further processing or approval.
  • Provide complete and accurate information using department manuals and training sessions as sources.
  • Recognize priority situations and notify appropriate parties when necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year Call Center experience required.
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous insurance or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Excellent PC skills required.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with irate customers.
  • Detail-oriented.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
