Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by answering product and delivery questions.
  • Process orders and prepare correspondence.
  • Track customer orders and resolve delivery issues.
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open communication.
  • Meet call handling and order entry quotas.
  • Handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives.
  • Keep records and track pricing for customers.
  • Review Deduction Lists, Credit Report, and Pricing Over-Ride Report.
  • Communicate with Warehouse Managers regarding order issues.
  • Work closely with other Customer Service Representatives to foster teamwork.
  • Expedite reports on back orders and open orders.
  • Track status of products and stock requests with the Purchasing team.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of effective customer support experience.
  • Strong phone skills.
  • Dynamic active listening skills.
  • Impassioned customer satisfaction focus.
  • Solid ability to effectively adapt and respond to different situations.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Customer support experience in a wholesale redistribution environment.
  • Familiarity with Eclipse (AS400)/Solar (Window based) system.
