About the position

The Customer Service Representative/Accounting Clerk position is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service while managing accounts payable tasks. The role involves handling customer inquiries, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient accounting operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Go the extra mile to engage and assist customers
  • Invoicing customers
  • Data Entry
  • Scanning / Filing
  • Assist with AR accounting filing
  • Enter payments and checks for customers
  • Scanning accounting documents

Requirements

  • Proven customer service experience
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and practices
  • Microsoft familiarity / Excel / Etc
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school degree
