About the position

The Customer Service Associate (Driver) is responsible for catering aircraft and transporting meals, beverages, and equipment to assigned flights. This role requires excellent customer service skills and adherence to safety and operational procedures while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flights.
  • Verify flights documentation to ensure correct items are loaded before heading to ramp.
  • Interact with other Customer Service team members to identify and resolve problems.
  • Interface with flight attendants and provide excellent customer service.
  • Comply with all operating and safety procedures regarding driving, positioning the unit at the planes, securing the work platform, loading and unloading carts on and off the planes.
  • Dispose of domestic and international trash based on CBP regulated guidelines.
  • Follow direction, meet tight deadlines, and interact/communicate with vendor airline crew as necessary.

Requirements

  • Must have a Commercial Drivers License (Class A or B)
  • Ability to speak, read and understand English.
  • Comply with all work rules and regulations.
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Able to pass a basic written test.
  • Ability to handle dry ice.
  • Pass a DOT Pre-Employment Physical test.
  • Pass a criminal background and an airport/TSA background check.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.
