About the position

We have an opening in our Customer Service department for a Customer Service Representative B - Bilingual. We are passionate about the environment while delivering life sustaining, high quality water service to families and communities. This is a hybrid work opportunity. The Company feels that three shared days in the office and two days with the option of working remotely allows for both collaborative time and quiet space for deep work. Eligible employees for hybrid work are required to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There may be a need for additional office days based on specific business requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering customer calls through the call center, addressing inquiries in both English and Spanish.
  • Interpret customer records and account history to respond effectively to customer concerns related to transfers, billing, service, collections, and payments.
  • Utilize the Customer Information System to access data and generate reports, ensuring accurate and timely information retrieval.
  • May correspond with customers via email or writing, addressing inquiries in both English and Spanish.
  • Commitment to a safe workplace by learning, following, and ensuring compliance with all safety rules, including those outlined in the Company Safety Manual, OSHA regulations, and other applicable state, federal, or governing body regulations.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the customer service team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service experience required.
  • Fully proficient at an intermediate level or above in MS Office Outlook.
  • Experience with proprietary Customer Information System (CIS) strongly preferred. JD Edwards experience a plus.
  • Excellent data entry skills, including speed and accuracy. Attention to detail is critical in all aspects of duties.
  • Thorough knowledge of Company rules and regulations preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish with both verbal and written communication.
