About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Custom Fabricating & Supplies plays a crucial role in ensuring excellent service delivery to clients. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients and prospects, coordinating effectively with various internal teams to manage customer orders and build strong relationships. The role also involves seeking government contract opportunities and contributing to the company's sales goals through proactive outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients, addressing their queries and processing orders efficiently.
  • Process customer data, manage orders, and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Operations, etc.) to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively research and prospect leads via email and cold calling to meet company sales goals.
  • Identify and bid on relevant government contracts, ensuring timely submission and compliance with requirements.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of Customer Service experience.
  • Experience working with ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients, both internal and external.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/CRM systems.
