About the position

This position serves as the Office's front line for New Accounts and Customer Service, requiring extensive product knowledge to support frequent customer contact. The role involves developing new business through servicing requests, reaching out to existing customers, identifying potential customers, and representing the Bank in community activities. The individual in this position will assist the Commercial Lender by spreading customer financial statements and analyzing them to identify customer strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, they will prepare financial forecasts with the assistance of bankers to evaluate the borrower's capacity. The primary responsibility is to provide support to the banker in soliciting, developing, and maintaining profitable account relationships, ultimately aiming to increase Stockman Bank's market share in this business.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front line for New Accounts and Customer Service.
  • Support frequent customer contact to develop new business.
  • Service customer requests and reach out to existing customers.
  • Identify and call on potential customers.
  • Represent the Bank in community activities.
  • Assist the Commercial Lender by spreading customer financial statements and analyzing them.
  • Identify customer strengths and weaknesses based on financial analysis.
  • Prepare financial forecasts with the assistance of bankers.
  • Support bankers in soliciting, developing, and maintaining profitable account relationships.
  • Increase Stockman Bank's market share in the business.

Requirements

  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • 4-year college level course of study in Business Administration or related field experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of financial statement and cash flow analysis, and basic working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Familiarity with legal contracts and the Uniform Commercial Code related to lending and collateral perfection.
  • Understanding of and ability to work with lending software with proper training.
  • Ability to remain focused and efficiently work unsupervised while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong credit analysis and decision-making skills.

  • Previous Bank Operations knowledge and skills.
  • Experience using ITI Platform, Decision Pro, and Laser Pro.
  • Attention to detail and ability to correct errors and document important details.
