About the position

The Customer Service Representative at Dal-Tile Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and support between the company and its customers. This position involves managing customer inquiries, processing sales orders, and providing high-quality service in a fast-paced call center environment. The representative will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound calls and coordinating with various internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer account management including order entry, inquiries, product information, and order status.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls using Automated Call Distribution (ACD).
  • Process sales orders and resolve customer product or service issues.
  • Key in orders, process faxes, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Interface with internal teams and SSCs to address customer inquiries and order issues from entry to delivery.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • 3+ years of call center or customer service experience.
  • Focus on customer account management preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Good voice quality that is conversational and professional.
  • Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, and guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills.
  • Moderate level of computer skills in Word and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
