About the position
Maximus is seeking Customer Service Representatives to support the Health Texas project by providing customer care and enrollment services for health benefits. This full-time role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing employees to work remotely or on-site in Austin, TX. The position involves interacting with customers via telephone, IVR, and web-based portals to address inquiries and resolve issues related to health programs and services.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about programs and services.
- Respond to customer inquiries received by telephone, IVR, or web-based portal.
- Record customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken.
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve problems to ensure appropriate changes are made.
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
- Communicate with supervisor regarding any potential needs or concerns.
- Navigate multiple computer systems and add appropriate documentation while speaking with a customer.
- Perform accurate data entry.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0-6 months of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must reside within 70 miles of El Paso, TX.
- Reliable, high-speed internet service with minimum 20 Mbps download speeds.
- Quiet and distraction-free workspace.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- 6 months of customer service experience preferred.
