About the position

The Customer Service Representative (Bilingual English/Spanish) role focuses on providing sales support for the International Sales Business Developer. This position involves developing quotations, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring effective communication across various departments. The representative will also assist in marketing efforts and contribute to the development of new products.

Responsibilities

  • Provides sales support for International Sales Business Developer.
  • Develops written quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Requests samples to send to existing customers and new leads.
  • Answers specific questions regarding products, order status, and registration issues.
  • Supports the marketing department in preparation for international tradeshows.
  • Prepares monthly reports including invoicing and summary of quotes sent.
  • Responsible for preparing Letter of Credit documentation in liaison with Accounting and Shipping Department.
  • Maintains accurate records for each customer including quotes and complaints.
  • Processes and enters orders and invoicing using Visual software.
  • Keeps open communication with various departments as needed.
  • Follows up on the Registration Process and payment of Registration fees with customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Requests codifications for Master Formulas for finished Products.
  • Supports inventory control of customer supply materials.
  • Provides feedback to management regarding customer needs and competitive activities.
  • Assists in special projects from the International Sales Department.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • 2-5 years' experience in customer service.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to accept criticism and show desire to learn and improve.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment.
