About the position

As a Customer Service Associate Representative at Express Scripts, you will play a crucial role in validating clinical and financial opportunities through effective communication and problem-solving skills. This position requires multitasking and attention to detail while ensuring high-quality service to both providers and patients. You will work independently to address patient inquiries and identify opportunities for pharmacist counseling, all while adapting to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Validate potential clinical and/or financial opportunities using scripted questions.
• Forward all potential clinical opportunities to a pharmacist.
• Speak with members regarding clinical or financial alerts while maintaining productivity standards and quality metrics.
• Resolve patient inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Identify opportunities for pharmacist counseling and triage as appropriate.
• Manage difficult situations and escalate when necessary.
• Adapt to change and meet the changing demands of a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 2-3 years in a clinical setting, call center, or customer service required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Internet with the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Availability to work Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:30pm Eastern time.
