About the position

As a Customer Service Representative Fueler/Washer at Penske, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our vehicles are ready for the road. Your primary responsibilities will include fueling and washing vehicles, performing vehicle readiness inspections, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for both customers and associates. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, greeting them with a smile and ensuring they have a great experience. This position is perfect for individuals who have an interest in vehicle maintenance but may not have prior experience, as we provide comprehensive training and hands-on coaching to help you develop your skills. You will learn how to use advanced vehicle maintenance technology and have the opportunity to advance your career within the company. In this role, you will also be responsible for performing minor repairs, such as installing and rotating tires, and conducting preventive maintenance repairs. You will be expected to complete other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor. The position requires a commitment to safety and adherence to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies. Regular attendance is essential, and you must be able to work outside in various weather conditions. Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and ensuring they have a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections to check tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items
• Maintaining clean and safe facilities for customers and associates
• Building skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing and rotating tires
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Willingness to work outside
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, and regulations established by Penske management
• Ability to perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to maintain a current driver qualification file as required by the role
