About the position
As a Customer Service Representative Fueler/Washer at Penske, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and safe for customers. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers, providing them with a positive experience as they arrive and depart. The role offers an opportunity to learn about vehicle maintenance and advance your career within the company, with no prior experience required.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and ensuring they have a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles.
- Performing vehicle readiness inspections to check tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items.
- Maintaining clean and safe facilities for customers and associates.
- Building skills through training to perform minor repairs such as installing and rotating tires and conducting preventive maintenance repairs.
- Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Willingness to work outside.
- Basic mechanical ability and tool usage preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions and safety regulations.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
