About The Position

Requirements

  • Three years of recent professional customer service experience with an emphasis on technology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to act as a Notary Public or obtain credentials within the first 6 months of appointment.
  • Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to sensitive employee information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Oral and written proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Considerable knowledge of general customer service principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of District policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first line customer service for requests from walk-in customers, callers, and electronic correspondence.
  • Resolve Board of Education related problems and issues using independent judgment.
  • Communicate with parents, employees, vendors, and the general public to obtain accurate information and direct issues to appropriate staff for resolution.
  • Book conference room reservations and coordinate logistics for meetings.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, and preparing large mailings.
  • Conduct complex data entry, create spreadsheets, and prepare routine correspondence and reports.
  • Perform special projects or related work as required.
