About the position

Aiphone is seeking a Customer Service Representative I to join their team in Redmond, WA. This entry-level position involves processing customer orders and inquiries primarily from wholesale customers in the security industry. The role requires effective communication and multitasking skills to handle various customer service responsibilities in a busy and friendly office environment. The representative will work weekdays only, with no weekend shifts required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex order entry with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Receive purchase orders from customers and enter them into the computer system with the correct shipping details and pricing.
  • Answer customer service calls and emails, providing information on account status, pricing, product availability, and shipment tracking.
  • Set up return and repair requests for customers.
  • Take spare part orders over the phone, collecting payment information.
  • Participate in product training and cross-training in other departments to enhance understanding of the company and product line.
  • Follow procedures related to the company and department.
  • Participate in customer service meetings to discuss procedures and improvement ideas.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service and/or data entry experience.
  • Typing speed of 60-70 words per minute with 95% accuracy or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of standard CRM Database packages and other software used within the company.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a business-to-business customer service environment.
  • Familiarity with green screen software environments.
