About the position

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for addressing client and provider inquiries through various communication channels, ensuring compliance with contractual and state guidelines as well as client instructions. This role involves maintaining effective communication and providing support to clients and providers in the Managed Care and Benefit Administration industries.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and return phone calls
  • Respond to emails from clients, providers, and internal referring offices
  • Review previous history of the provider in MedCheck, Scheck, and SalesCloud
  • Consult with Supervisor or other departments to clarify answers to inquiries
  • Contact provider to discuss findings at the appropriate level
  • Maintain reports and spreadsheets as needed
  • Ensure punctual and consistent attendance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience in Managed Care and Benefit Administration industries
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding
