About the position

The Customer Service Representative I at CorVel Corporation is responsible for addressing inquiries from clients and providers through various communication channels, ensuring adherence to contractual and state guidelines. Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and return calls promptly.
  • Respond to emails from clients, providers, and internal offices.
  • Review provider history in MedCheck, Scheck, and SalesCloud.
  • Consult with supervisors or other departments for clarification on inquiries.
  • Maintain reports and spreadsheets as needed.
  • Demonstrate punctual and consistent attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service experience in Managed Care and Benefit Administration industries.
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation fee schedules and regulations.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Detail-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and coding.
