About the position

The Customer Service Representative II at Dal-Tile plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and coordination between the company and its customers. This position involves providing high-quality customer service, processing sales orders, and resolving product or service issues in a fast-paced call center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer account management including order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check, and transportation management.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls using Automated Call Distribution (ACD).
  • Key in orders, process faxes, and prepare reports.
  • Interface with internal teams and SSCs to address customer inquiries and order issues from entry to delivery.
  • Respond to customer needs and participate in special projects as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • 1 or more years of call center or customer service experience, preferably with a focus on customer account management.
  • Prior knowledge of the textile industry is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Moderate computer skills in Word and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively.
