About the position

The Customer Service Representative II at Mohawk Industries plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and support between the company and its customers. This position involves managing customer accounts, processing sales orders, and resolving product or service issues, all while providing a high level of service in a call center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer account management including order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check, and transportation management.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls using Automated Call Distribution (ACD).
  • Key in orders, process faxes, and prepare reports.
  • Interface with internal teams and SSCs to address customer inquiries and order issues from entry to delivery.
  • Respond to customer needs promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of calls and manage customer inquiries efficiently.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for order processing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a call center environment.
  • Familiarity with sales order processing systems.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
