About the position

The Customer Service Representative II at Mohawk Industries plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and coordination between the company and its customers. This position involves providing high-quality customer service, managing customer accounts, processing sales orders, and resolving product or service issues in a call center environment. The representative will handle a high volume of inbound calls and work closely with various internal teams to address customer inquiries and order issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer account management including order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check, and transportation management.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls using Automated Call Distribution (ACD).
  • Key in orders, process faxes, and prepare reports.
  • Interface with internal teams and SSCs to address customer inquiries and order issues from order entry to delivery.
  • Respond to customer needs and participate in special projects as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • 1 or more years of call center or customer service experience.
  • Focus on customer account management preferred.
  • Moderate level of computer skills in Word and Excel required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior textile industry knowledge is preferred.
