About the position

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Signature Aviation plays a crucial role in ensuring excellent customer service within the fixed base operation (FBO). This position involves interacting with visitors and coworkers in a professional manner, handling concierge services, and managing customer transactions accurately. The CSR is expected to work collaboratively with the team to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain a welcoming environment while adhering to company procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a friendly welcome to all visitors and customers at Signature.
  • Collaborate with coworkers and customers to meet service needs and ensure efficient communication.
  • Address customer needs promptly and offer additional Signature services as appropriate.
  • Process customer purchases and fuel transactions accurately according to company procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of Signature's facilities, services, and surrounding areas to assist customers effectively.
  • Replenish beverages and supplies as per facility standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections for cleanliness and compliance with regulations, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide concierge services, including arranging reservations and transportation for visitors.
  • Assist pilots with access to airport information and services.
  • Help visitors with luggage and assist line service personnel as needed.
  • Follow emergency response procedures during critical events.
  • Recommend improvements to standards and procedures to management.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and courtesy towards everyone at all times.
  • Comply with and enforce all security protocols as dictated by Signature and the airport.
  • Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Valid state license required where applicable for driving.
  • Professional appearance is necessary.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug tests, and maintain airport security badge issuance.
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
  • Ability to complete Signature's training programs successfully and timely.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, including email and internet usage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Three to six months of experience in aviation, FBO, hospitality, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of radio procedures and protocols is preferred.
